National Basic Skills Competency Badges, or KAPOS Badges
KAPOS badges help identify, recognize, and highlight broad competencies. The badges focus on basic skills needed in everyday life, as well as in studies and work. The Finnish National Agency for Education has defined the national badge competency goals and assessment criteria, which can be found here Competency Badges – ePerusteet. Badges can be completed at institutions of liberal adult education. With the customer’s consent, a successful completion is recorded in the Koski data repository, and the customer can view their badge in the Oma Opintopolku service, from where it can be added, for example, to a CV.
