Ville Nieminen teaches English at different levels in Aurala, but his courses also focus on the joy and encouragement of learning. We interviewed Ville for her teaching work and what inspires her as a teacher:
What inspires you to teach this topic?
When I was young, I experienced learning difficulties, which I fortunately found the help later. As a language teacher, I want to help students get success in learning and develop towards their own goals.
What do participants usually be surprised to learn?
Many students have experienced self -confidence to have grown up, and they have experienced successfully communicating in English, for example on holiday.
Who did the courses fit?
Language compass is suitable for anyone interested in language learning. My Peaceful Edeten Course is already suitable for English for those who want to strengthen both vocabulary and grammar skills. The Lunchtime Chat course is especially suitable for those interested in oral language training.
What is the best moment you have experienced as a teacher?
When students have said they enjoy studying on the course. It has also been a great time to see that long -term work on the courses has borne fruit and the students have clearly taken advances.
Why is this skill important in life?
In my opinion, it is very important to dare to throw myself boldly, whether it was an oral exercise in the classroom or the right communication situation, for example, traveling abroad. We are easily too critical of ourselves and demand too much perfection.
